From position 90 to 6 on the queries that pay most
Two sites, no search console connected, no sitemap, and a corporate events segment that was practically invisible. That is exactly where the margin was.
90 → 6
on the main corporate events query
Position tracking on the B2B segment
Where they started
Two parks, two websites, one shared audience. No tracking connected, no sitemap submitted, no legal pages, a very poor mobile performance score and a lot of broken pages.
More importantly: the two most profitable segments — corporate events and team building — were handled on the same page. Those aren't the same searches. An HR manager looking for an event venue and a team looking for an activity don't type the same thing and don't expect the same page.
Our work
- 01Separate the search intentsOne corporate events page built for conversion, one team building page built around activities. That single decision produced most of the result, before any technical work at all.
- 02Strengthen what exists rather than rebuildThe usual move would have been to propose a new website. We chose instead to work both existing domains and let authority flow between them. Cheaper for the client, faster to results.
- 03Fix the technical foundationImage compression, caching, sitemap submitted, broken pages redirected, GDPR compliance. Nothing spectacular, but nothing ranks without it.
- 04Prioritise from data, not instinctSearch console diagnosis before any decision. B2B pages and the business listing came first because the numbers said so, not because it's the habit.

Practices involved
Acquisition, organic side. This project illustrates a simple principle: before producing content, check that a single page isn't trying to answer two different intents. It's the cheapest diagnosis and the most profitable.
